Last month I had a lot of little news, this month it's time for some big news.

My first big show of 2007 is coming up - a solo show at the Hopewell Frame Shop. I'll be showing many of my local landscapes - some of which were done very close to the town of Hopewell, so I'm excited to be having the show here. Besides my paintings, I'll have some limited edition prints on hand and Abby, the owner, would be glad to handle your framing needs.
Hopewell Frame Shop and GalleryOpening reception is Saturday March 3 from 6pm to 8pm and the show runs through April 28. Hopewell has some good restaurants, so if you come to the opening, you can make an evening out of it. If you visit during the daytime, I highly recommend lunch at the Soupe Du Jour, just around the corner at 10 Blackwell Ave. It'll be the best bowl of soup and grilled cheese sandwich you ever had. (They are only open for brunch and lunch.)

In other news, the Harrison Street Gallery in Frenchtown, NJ is closing it's doors at the end of the month. The owner is moving to another part of the country, and hasn't been able to find someone to take over the gallery. I was there from the start of this artists cooperative back in May 2006 and it's sad to see this place close, but sometimes bad news opens the door for some good news...
My other good news is that I've joined the des Champs Gallery at 7 Lambert Lane in Lambertville, NJ. It's a new gallery but the owner Lise des Champs had been running another gallery in town for while so she's experienced at this and has done a great job with the gallery so far. It's at a prime location right in the heart of town, just a stone's throw from the bridge. A lot of great artists are on board already, so it's a privilege for me to be joining this gallery.
