For something a bit different from my landscape paintings, one of my nature photographs appears in the newly published children’s book titled What Stinks?   It’s a fun and informative children’s book about the way that plants and animals use smell.  I already learned something from the book:  that daddy long legs stink!   I guess I just never got close enough.  When a daddy long legs is attacked, it oozes a smelly fluid then uses its legs to smear this chemical on the attacker.  The book is for ages 9 to 12, but you are never too old to learn!
