First Saturdays at the Harrison Street Gallery

On May 4th, the new Harrison Street art gallery opened in Frenchtown and I am happy to be counted among it’s first group of artists. The gallery will be open Thursday through Sunday, 11am to 5pm. "First Saturdays" will be a monthly event where the gallery hosts a MEET THE ARTISTS reception from 5 to 9 pm on the first Saturday of every month. The first First Saturday is on June 3rd. Besides myself, more than 20 other gallery artists will be on hand, and we hope to see you there.
The gallery is owned by Laura Wells, who also owns Art Decor Frame & Gallery located right next door to the new Harrison Street Gallery. If Harrison Street Gallery sounds familiar, there was a gallery by this name at the same location which was run by Susan Roseman. When Sue decided to concentrate on her Riverbank Arts gallery in Stockton, Laura took over the property and kept the same name. But it will be an entirely new art gallery, with new artists and a new look. |
