| Phillips Mill Oil on Masonite Phillips Mill, along River Road north of New Hope, PA. Built in 1756, the mill later played an important role in the New Hope school of art and Pennsylvania Impressionism (aka Bucks County Impressionism). The house in the center was William Lathrop's house, where it all began. The building on the left is the Mill and is on the National Register of Historic Places. |
